Project Outline
Trefoil Interiors was appointed main contractor to deliver the fit-out of WPP’s new 260m² office at One Central Square, Cardiff, transforming a vacant space into a contemporary, functional workplace. ABL was specified by Trefoil to supply the desk-mounted monitor arms and power modules across the office.
Trefoil needed a desking solution for the open-plan workstations that would keep dual-monitor setups stable and adjustable, support staff switching between laptops and monitors, and route power and data cleanly without cable clutter.
Project Outcome
ABL supplied TRM power modules, certified to BS 5733 with the BSI Kitemark KM 686563, as part of the workstation setup. The TRM modules were integrated into the bench desks, providing convenient access to power behind each fabric privacy screen.
For the ergonomic workstation setup, ABL supplied the Sigma double spring monitor arm with a laptop holder attachment. Sigma gives each user independent adjustment of two monitors, including height, tilt, swivel and rotation. The laptop holder attaches to the same arm, keeping the laptop elevated and the desk surface clear.
Together, TRM, Sigma and HASP cable spine provide a practical combination of integrated power, flexible monitor positioning and laptop support for modern shared workstations.
The workstations across WPP’s new Cardiff office are fitted with ABL’s Sigma arms and laptop holders, giving Trefoil’s client a consistent, clutter-free setup for both monitor and laptop users, and supporting the bright, modern feel central to the fit-out’s design brief.
