About this privacy notice
As a supplier of ergonomic office accessories, ABL UK holds some personal data in relation to our customers and potential customers from the office furniture industry, such as furniture suppliers, facility managers and fit out companies, along with data that relates to suppliers and employees.
As ABL UK make decisions regarding the data we collect and how it is used, we are ‘data controllers’ and therefore need to inform you of the personal data we hold, any processing activities, and your rights regarding ABL’s use of your data.

What personal data do ABL UK hold?
ABL UK hold the minimal amount of data on our customers and members of the industry in order to manage your account and preferences, keep you up to date of relevant news and fulfil orders. This may include:

Who do ABL UK share your data with and how is it protected?

All third parties used by ABL UK are not permitted to share your information or use it for any other purpose than to provide their services. How long do ABL keep your data for?
If you are an existing customer:
ABL UK need to retain your personal data to ensure that we fulfil your orders and manage your account efficiently. For this reason, we will keep records of transactions for a minimum of 12 months since your last order. After the 12 month period we will hold your data as a potential customer.
If you are a potential customer:
ABL UK will retain your data in order to keep you informed of products, offers, and relevant business news for a maximum of 24 months, after which your records will be deleted if there has been no positive activity or interest.
How to manage your preferences with ABL UK
ABL UK only use your data to provide you with information and services that we believe are relevant to you. You can request to be removed from marketing or communications that are not required to fulfil your orders or manage your account at any time.

ABL UK provides the best service by ensuring that your personal details are accurate and up to date so that you receive the most recent and relevant information to you. Right to erasure: You have the right to ask for your data to be erased, however in certain circumstances this may not be possible if your information is required to fulfil our contractual obligations (for example, if we have existing orders to be fulfilled).
Right to restrict processing: Under certain circumstances you have the right to restrict the processing of your information. This may include when you contest inaccurate information, if you consider ABL’s legitimate interests are overriding your own interests, or if you consider the processing to be unlawful.
Right to object: You have the right to object to certain types of processing of your data when it is based on legitimate interests, when it is used for direct marketing, or when it is processed for the purpose of statistical analysis.
Automated decision making: ABL UK do not make any automated decision based on your personal information. We may profile your data to target offers that are relevant to you, which you can opt out of.
